OUR CLINICS FOCUS ON:
Our Defensive Situations Clinic is structured for 10U, 12U, and 14U players at the Tier I and Tier II levels and is not tailored for beginners.
It is designed to build strong foundational skills and elevate defensive play through age-appropriate instruction and high-energy drills.
Players will learn key techniques such as gap control, angling, stick positioning, and body checking (where age-appropriate), while also developing situational awareness and communication on the ice. The clinic emphasizes smart decision-making in the defensive zone, effective breakout strategies, and one-on-one coverage.
While tailored for defensemen, the clinic is equally valuable for forwards, who benefit from understanding defensive responsibilities, backchecking techniques, and how to support their team in transition. By learning to anticipate plays and contribute defensively, forwards become more complete players—capable of making smarter reads, recovering pucks, and creating offensive opportunities from strong defensive positioning.
